Blessings Bridal Accessories is a dream come true for bridal designer Milena Simonovic. Her love of bridal design started when she was 10 years old, looking through bridal magazines and spending hours sketching bridal gowns. After studying fashion design in Southern California and completing bridal consultant training, she continued to develop her millinery skills and spent several years working in bridal salons. Years later, she launched a bridal accessories business in the US, before moving back to Calgary, Alberta.

Over the years, Milena has created custom bridal headpieces and veils, restored a 1930’s wedding gown and veil, and worked as a bridal consultant. Launching Blessings Bridal Accessories is a way to celebrate her love for all things bridal. 

With a passion for high-end bridal design (Elie Saab, Carolina Herrera, and Monique Lhuillier are just a few favorites), as well as vintage and historical bridal fashion that includes intricate details, old-world and hand-crafted techniques, she focuses on creating couture and heirloom quality headpieces and accessories. The headpieces are made to order using the finest components including freshwater pearls, Swarovski™ findings, exquisite fabrics, laces and finishes worthy of this important event in a bride’s life. Offering both bespoke and curated collections, Blessings Bridal Accessories offers brides the best of both worlds when choosing their finishing touches.
